Project developed by ECLAC with the support of the French Agency for Ecology Transition (ADEME) and Enerdata with funding from the French Development Agency (AFD) to promote the evaluation of Energy Efficiency in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The data mapper includes more than 60 indicators covering the OSD7 aspects. Through the map, graphs and accompanying text, it provides an analysis on the level and trends of the indicators by comparing the Latin American and Caribbean countries.
Data MapperThe database includes policies and measures in Latin American and Caribbean countries, which aim at the improvement of energy efficiency and the promotion of renewables in end-use sectors (households, industry, transport and services), as well as improving the access of households to energy.
Policy & measuresThe policy mapper facility provides an overview of policies implementation in Latin American and Caribbean countries through a map. It covers the most important policies & measures at overall and sectoral level.
Policy mapperThe policy impact tracker facility enables a visualisation of all policies aiming at a given end-use and the link to related energy efficiency indicators.
Policy impact trackerThis section contains the materials of the seminars that were organised in the framework of the BIEE-ROSE project (video recordings and presentations). It also contains the most recent publications on the progress of SDG7 through indicators and on the implementation of energy efficiency policies in Latin American and Caribbean countries.
Publications & eventsThis section is dedicated to training on energy efficiency monitoring. It contains a first part with presentations on energy efficiency indicators and evaluation. A second part is devoted to case studies on energy efficiency indicators with videos commenting on solutions to the exercises posed.
